Friends, followers, passers by…
Last April, I tried on this dress a few weeks before prom in Dillards. My jaw dropped. My mom’s jaw dropped. Everyone in the dressing rooms’ jaws dropped. I was meant to have this dress. But it was $179.99, it wasn’t going to happen.
Just so happens I wandered into Dillards yesterday to see a single rack of prom dresses sitting in the middle of this section. The first one my mom and I saw was the gorgeous, ivory and gold dress. They had the only one in my size, and it just so happened to be the same one I tried on months ago, the one with the broken hook. It was $24.99.
So there’s my perfect day story, and other things worked out just as well as this did too. But this, this was definitely the highlight of it.
